3rd Marine Day in Athens - international conference organised by AF, KL, DL, not to be missed!
Air France KLM and Delta Air Lines were delighted to welcome 250 guests to the Third Marine Day in Athens on 15 May 2025.
This event is close to our hearts as an opportunity to connect and re-connect with our partners, old and new, in the place where shipping started. It was great to catch up with so many Marine agencies at this increasingly international event.
The conference brought the Maritime, Travel and Aviation industries together to share and reveal what is truly at stake, the challenges and solutions to meet our goals in the supply chain, sustainability, recruitment, diversity and safety.
Mr Joost van Ree, Ocean Technologies Group, orchestrated a very dynamic panel discussion between the experts of the respective industries and this led to a most insightful session.
We also had the pleasure to hear a very inspirational account of a Seafarer's life at Sea by Ivan Guzman, aka Morenong Marino who is very busy creating awareness through TikTok, see for yourself Ivan Guzman (@ivangodsman) | TikTok
